I have lots of favorites, but it's easier to divide them up into categories. uwu

Horror: Shiki
Harem: The World God Only Knows
Romance/Drama: ef~a tale of memories~
Action/Adventure/Shonen/whatever: Medaka Box
Science Fiction: Steins;Gate
Comedy: Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai

And that's it, I think...

Great choices there! I had always wanted to try out Steins;Gate, since it's developed by Nitroplus & 5pb.

Madoka is one of my favourite anime(s) as well! At first I thought that it would just be some cutesy generic mahou shoujo anime, so it really came as a shock when Mami died so early in a series. I didn't expect it to turn into so dark.

Kuroko no Basket is definitely my top favourite right now! :D I'm actually thinking of buying Fate/Zero's manga. And yesss, Pandora Hearts! I really love all the twists and how everything is wrapping up nicely now.

My favorite anime would be Neon Genesis Evangelion, Steins;Gate, Baccano!, Darker Than Black. I also consider Ano Hana one of my favorites. It's not the greatest anime I have watched but it just hit close to home with some things and thus... As for manga, I don't read many so I would go with Katekyo Hitman Reborn (the plot ain't anything special but I really love most of the characters) and Dogs: Bullets & Carnage.

I feel like I'm the only one who haven't watch Evangelion here XO I agree the plot of KHR isn't really special; but most of the characters are really lovable and of course the artwork by Akira Amano is awesome. <3 (I remember watching Psycho-pass in the first place just because the character is designed by her XD)

You definitely should try it, I think you might like it! I admit I can't guarantee that since it's old and can be a bit weird for some at times (like the movie ending, I wish I never watched it, lol) but it became my favourite anime in no time, and there is even just one character I don't like. It has psychological genre mixed in so it's interesting to see characters behavior, especially if you could relate to any of them. I'd definitely recommend it if you like trying a new series. Oh yes, the art is also the reason. You know, the reason I refused to try KHR for like two years is because I tried that terrible anime first and saw the art in first chapters and just... no, then after I saw the improvement, I had to give it a try. About Psycho-Pass though, it was also the reason I was anticipating it the most out of all the series this season. (which was a good choice). That and the fact Ginoza looked like Ishida.

My favorite anime are Revolutionary Girl Utena and Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu (I've watched Utena three times and DenYuuDen uh... seven, maybe?). I also really enjoyed Baccano, Princess Tutu, Fresh PreCure, Heartcatch PreCure, Natsume Yuujinchou, and Gundam 00, and I still have a soft spot for Code Geass.

It's harder to name a specific favorite manga, but some of the ones I've really liked are Adekan, Tokyo Babylon, X/1999, Yami no Matsuei, Amatsuki, Tokage, Aruosumente, Spiral, Zombie Loan, and Dolls.

I like MANY because I watch a lot, but if I were to pick a few favourites I'd say Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Baccano! and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (or anything else SHAFT, really) on the anime side and Yotsuba&, 20th Century Boys and Eyeshield 21 on the manga side!

hahaha I actually got into Nabari no Ou quite recently (around mid-year)! I loved the manga and Raikou and Raimei were my two favourite characters hehe~

When you got into tokimemo I found it amazing that you liked Kazuma and Katsumi who were my absolute favourite!! I'm really happy we have some tastes in common~ I also wish I could play some of the otomes you seem to have played recently, but no iphone or psp sooob! Hopefully I'll play them someday and I'll share my thoughts with you fufufu!

Hmm, that's actually tough, it's hard to separate "stuff I'm into right now" and "stuff I'll always love".

Baccano!, CLANNAD, Natsume Yuujinchou and Gintama are probably my overall favourites. I'm super into Kuroko no Basket right now too. Someone mentioned Nichibros. Nichibros is awesome, I'll put that down too. c:

It's really hard to answer for manga because I generally read them until I can't stand them and want nothing to do with them? (Bleach, Reborn, Air Gear ...) I guess Kuroshitsuji. :|a

Lovely★Complex has always been my favorite manga series, because the art is just what I like, the characters feel so alive with their expressions at times so anyone can relate easily, haha. Of course, there's also non-cliche romance with a whole lot of development. I love D.N.Angel a lot, as well as Arina Tanemura's works and Ao Haru Ride.

When it comes to anime series, I tend to like horror mysteries a lot, so Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Another are amongst my all-time favorites. Right now, I'm also really in love with Psycho-Pass, Gen Urobuchi writes stuff wonderfully in general. My other favorites include Hotarubi no Mori e, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai & Cardcaptor Sakura as a definite childhood favorite.

You definitely should, especially if you like comedies and unconventional romance, haha; though I really like the manga more than anime, even if it's the same story up to one point. DO CATCH UP WITH PSYCHO-PASS, the last two episodes that came out were the best ;~; (how funny it is that Kamisama is my second favorite show this season, too? I mean I do like some others, but imo overall they scored pretty average) tl;dr sorry!

I think I will try hunting for the manga at my local manga renting shop. XD I SAW SOME SPOILERS ON TUMBLR and god Akane, she went through a lot. ;A; And there's also various gifs of Masaoka's headbutt of love, lol. (We have great tastes XD Kamisama is an really awesome shoujo for me, I really love Nanami as a heroine <3 I wish the anime was longer and would cover the manga more)
I agree with that, I was quite disappointed with Code:Breaker's anime and I Sukitte's manga is better too. As for Project K... well, pretty I guess? XD I gave up after 3 episodes, lol.

And Kougami did go through some stuff, too; these characters are so doomed and for some reason I'm even kind of looking forwards to that, DOES THAT MAKE ME A BAD PERSON. (Haha, same, although Tomoe is even more awesome since he's not lovestuck or cheesy like... most of the shoujo male protagonists I know, orz. I have to read the manga as soon as I finish the anime! /unwilling to let go)

I've heard quite a few times how Code:Breaker's anime sort of wrecked the events of the manga, and I even thought it might end up as a nice adaptation /sigh. What was up with the main two I don't even want to know. "OGAMI" "imma kill you Sakura!" "OGAMIOGAMI" "no I will protect you!" "OGAMIOGAMIOGAMI" "wait but what about killing you" I'm actually surprised Project K ended up being so loved on tumblr considering its less than weak plot .__.

I can always quickly say Pandora Hearts to this question! There's the beautiful art at first glance and now at what feels like the ending chapters, I love the feeling that Mochizuki-sensei has planned all the story all from the start~ It really feels like all the pieces are coming together and I love it when stories place little hints as you go along to make a very satisfying wrap up at the end~

I can also say Tiger & Bunny! Kotetsu and Barnaby are excellent protagonists whose partnership you can really feel build ;w; I'm rather attached because I think it's one of the first anime that I watched whilst airing and got really into all the speculation. Kuroko no Basuke is also a close one, mainly because I agree so hard with Kuroko's philosophy and I love seeing Seirin grow as a team ;w;

I think for manga, mine's Liar Game. I've never actually chewed my fingers over reading a manga and this kept me reading through the wee hours of the night. ;A; Then I went into some sort of spasm when it went on hiatus. T^T

I like a lot of animes though. Lately, I'm too overly invested in my feelings for Kuroko no Basuke. Sword Art Online got me questioning a lot on the futures of our gaming systems. ;w; I've been keeping up with Psycho-Pass (love the technology here, is my tech geek feels oozing out?), Kamisama Hajimemashita and K Project. Pretty much like a lot of action animes. :c Oh, UtaPri too I guess!

Obligatory mention of Cardcaptor Sakura because that equates childhood (no... I never really got into the Sailor Moon fandom) and funny but I like the CCS anime more than the manga, sort of. Plus the CCS cards were the most expensive fandom merch I ever bought for myself. T^T/

You'd like Liar Game if you like mind-boggling stuff or just brain teasers in general. :3 Which I do. XD (And the CCS cards cost me over a hundred.. and they were just the original Clow Cards, I believe there's a Sakura Cards set out there but I'm afraid to find them right now. /broke)

My favorite anime are Code Geass, Death Note, and Fullmetal Alchemist as my top three. My top five are a little harder to pick, but those are the three I will always love despite flaws or time XD Though other favorites include Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Cardcaptor Sakura. My favorite manga are Earthian, Loveless, and anything by Arina Tanemura. So basically I like seinen/shounen in anime, and shoujo in my manga XD

Aww! For me, that would be Yugioh. Or rather, Yugioh was the one that taught me that anime was a thing that exists, and then Inuyasha was the first anime I watched because it was anime (well, rather, it *sounded* like it might be Japanese when I looked it up in the TV Guide... XD). Actually, if it weren't for Inuyasha, I might never have seen FMA! My sister was supposed to tape it, but ended up getting the second episode of FMA instead. I remember watching that episode thinking it was too bad it was probably a midseason episode... when I discovered it was only the second one, I was ecstatic! Really...I think it was a kind of love-at-first-showing for me with FMA ;w; Hee, yes, Kurama and Hiei are <3 And I totally keep meaning to reread Shaman King! I adore Anna and Yoh ////
